Words could never express my feelings towards this special, big guy. He truly melts my heart. We have a bond like no other. From traveling to shows, to working as a therapy cat, Barney, many days, doesn't seem like a cat, but more a person. He's never met a stranger and everyone who meets him says they'll never forget him. |

As a baby, he stole our hearts. I actually didn't want a RED cat....but he chose us, and besides, who could turn this face down?! Now we can't imagine our lives without this beautiful RED cat. |

He is one of the largest cats in the world, at 49 inches in length, although he is fairly lean, weighing a mere 24 lbs. Here he is with our vet, Dr. Sarah Hansen. |

As a show cat, he had potential. He did grand, but he hated the show halls...I think he took lessons from brother Gus. I tried 2 shows with him as a grand and that was it. He'd had enough! So, he was retired, at 11 months of age. |

Around the house, Barney is everyone's favorite. He's the house clown and "big boy". |
