Meet my very
first silver torbie & white girl. Born to sweet "Lassie" during the
summer of 2009 is this amazing girl. From the minute she was born, I
knew she was a keeper! No, not really (who can actually know
which kittens will be show/breeder quality at birth). Based on her
color, however, I had high hopes she would. While never the largest
in the litter, she proved to have the amazing type I want from my
breeding cats. She has a square muzzle, a profile that is (usually)
without any sign of a bump as it has a gentle slope to it & her chin
lines up with her nose. Her ears are large and furnished with lynx
tipping (thankfully as her siblings didn't all have that extra
feature). As she's grown, her body has filled in very nicely in size
& length.
*Sept 2010: Thanks to judge Kay
DeVilbiss who gave Caray her needed "Best Cat" award for completing
her Supreme Grand Champion title requirements! After taking the
summer off from showing, Caray hadn't been enjoying the showhall and
we're thrilled she is now retired from showing to focus on being a
mom! Plans are in the works for a fall breeding. |

Caray learned quickly that the sisle poles were lots of fun! Here
she is with Judge Rene Knapp and Trainee David Knudleman. |
Caray hasn't
been shown much as a kitten (just once) due to my active showing of
her best friend, House, who is the same age.
I took Caray
to her first show at 6 months and a bit scared on Saturday, she
really blossomed & realized on Sunday that showing was lots of fun.
At home, she's a toy junkie & on Sunday she let the judges know it
too! I was a bit shocked when she beat House in a few rings & ended
up with three finals.
