As a kitten,
she lived in Northern California with our friends, TICA judges, Jeff
& Heather Roberts. Heather had always wanted to show a Maine Coon &
when she saw her picture at 3 months of age, she knew Marcia was the
one! Heather nicknamed her Peanut when she met her for the first
time.
She has
recently returned to me to finish titling and begin her breeding
career. I sincerely thank Heather & Jeff for their love & care of
her.
NEWS: In
February 2010, Peanut earned the elusive title of SUPREME GRAND
CHAMPION by earning not just the one needed, but two, Best Cat
awards at the Arcadia, California, show. Way to go Peanut!!!
She was found
free of HCM, via echocardiogram, and HD, via xray analysis from OFA. She is negative for the
MyBPC3 mutation associated with HCM by default. She'll be bred to IW
SGC LAPD Kid Rock this Spring (first litters for the pair of them).
Rocky was TICA's Best Kitten Internationally for the 2008-2009
season and I'm thrilled at the possibility of babies from him &
Peanut!
