We sell most of our kittens as pets
and only sell breeding cats to people we know very well (who also test
for HD and HCM, and show).
The price for a pet or show kitten is
the same since we can't guarantee a young kitten will tolerate showing nor mature to be
a top quality show cat (no one can guarantee either of these things). We do,
however, love
placing our kittens in show homes, so if you are interested, please let us know.
We'd be more than happy to assist/mentor you at a TICA show.
And finally, we ask for a $200
deposit to hold a kitten. This deposit is transferable to another kitten if you
change your mind and is done simply because we then tell people that inquire
that the kitten is not available.
Each Chemicoons Kitten:

is
micro-chipped
& registered
with Home Again
-
has
well-kitten check-ups with our vet, a certificate of health & appropriate
vaccinations
-
is from parents that have BOTH
been tested clear of HCM via echocardiogram & DNA testing therefore all
kittens are negative for the one known DNA mutation associated with HCM
(MyBPC3)
-
is from parents that have been
screened for hip dysplasia
-
is Feline Leukemia and FIV
tested negative (and indicated on the veterinarian health certificate)
-
has a health & genetic guarantee (via our
contract)
-
will be spayed if a female, or
on a neuter agreement, if male
-
has received one dose of
Revolution
as a preventative measure.
-
has one
free visit with our vet, if you so choose, after the kitten is in your care
-
will
be ready
to leave for their new homes between 12-16 weeks of age
-
goes to an indoor-only home, where they will not be declawed
-
will
be placed
only in approved homes where they are given a lifetime of love
