Christmas 2006

Regional Winner,
Supreme Grand Champion Alter
Americium of Chemicoons
aka Glitter
Blue Classic Torbie & White
June 22, 2005

Meet Glitter......she is a very different color than we're accustomed to seeing around our house, but she caught my eye in this first picture I saw of her as a very young kitten.

Unfortunately, Glitter wasn't destined to be a mom - she was spayed without ever having kittens due to a pyometra (uterine infection).  She's now living with my parents in Chicago and being shown in the alter class of TICA.  We miss her a lot and are thankful my parents agreed to take her, which means we get to see her often! She remains one of my favorite all-time cats.

She has good size, boning and structure for her age.  Her best feature is her most laid back temperament.  You can pick her up and cuddle her like a baby at any given time and she goes limp & purrs.

Americium is an element on the periodic table named for the Americas. And with her patriotic colors, we thought it was most appropriate a name.  It's also the 4th transuranic element to be discovered, and she is our 4th breeding girl.
