Yet again we find ourselves extremely
grateful for good friends. This time our friends, the Dell's, gave
us a gift in the form of a "strange colored" cat!! While she might be
quite a different color than we're accustomed to seeing around our house,
she caught my eye in this first picture I saw of her as a very young
kitten. |

Unfortunately,
Glitter wasn't destined to be a mom - she was spayed without ever
having kittens.
She's now living with my parents in Chicago
and being shown in the alter class of TICA. We miss her a lot and
are thankful my parents agreed to take her, which means we get to see her
often! She remains one of my favorite all-time cats. |
|
She has good
size, boning and structure for her age. We look forward to
watching her mature.
Her best
feature is her most laid back temperament. You can pick her up
and cuddle her like a baby at any given time and she goes limp &
purrs. She handles very well as a show cat (having a ball with
all of the toys she gets to play with and people to meet) and some
day I might even let my mom, her new owner, show her herself! |

Americium is an element on the periodic table named for the Americas.
And with her patriotic colors, we thought it was most appropriate a name.
It's also the 4th transuranic element to be discovered, and she is our 4th
breeding girl. |
