This litter has been, by far, our most special.  Mom Sophie was sent to us, on lease, because of the difficulties we'd had with Mocha producing a good litter.  Mocha had lost 8 kittens and wouldn't you know it - that EXACTLY how many Sophie blessed us with!  These kids have gone on to be the most successful Chemicoons cats (in show) ever & are well known as the most recent litter of Maine Coon clones.  Below are show results from their initial days in the showhalls.

Marie, Linus (now Seamus) and I made the LONG trip to Ohio in mid-June.  It was well worth the drive.  At just 4 months old, and in a kitten class of 10 beautiful Maine Coon kittens, 40+ all-breed kittens, we were stunned with our results.  Marie was best Maine coon kitten in show and Linus was 2nd best.  Marie earned a 10th, two 5th's, a 4th (LH)  and a 2nd (LH) place.  Linus didn't do bad himself, with three 3rd best All-breed and a 5th best Long-haired kitten finals.

Marie did well early August in Denver, bringing home a Best AB Kitten award.  There were 55 kittens present, so we were quite proud.  She'd heard the rumor that her brother, Chemicoons Catalyst of Woodpile, had earned a few of these and couldn't be out-done by him!

Now, as adults we're thrilled to announce:

Champion Alter Chemicoons Tawnie Momie
Supreme Grand Champion Alter Chemicoons McGurk Momie
Double Grand Champion Alter Chemicoons Seamus Momie
Double Grand Champion Madame Marie Curie
Regional Winner, Supreme Grand Champion Chemicoons Catalyst of Woodpile

Their brother, Chemicoons Catalyst of Woodpile, kitten name Fermi, continues to make his presence known in the show halls of the Northwest.  He's brought home MULTIPLE best all-breed kitten awards and finishes, overall, in the top 10 of nearly every show he attends.

The first weekend of June, at the TICA Annual, Rowdy earned two finals (out of a class of 28 Maine Coon kittens and All-breed count well over 100).  Way to go Rowdy!!

At his first show and only 4 months of age, we were thrilled he was best Maine Coon kitten in show!  In a class of 10 beautiful Maine Coon kittens he was the youngest, but brought home the following finals: 10th, 6th, 3rd, two 2nd's and a BEST KITTEN!! He ended the show as the 7th best overall kitten in show. Thanks goes to Jan (and especially Kaiti) Dell who showed him so very well.  We couldn't be more proud.
