I don't even know where to begin when describing Jehtro (aka J). From the moment he was born, he was destined be my dear, dear friend Tereasa's "soul cat". Tereasa has always adored his mom, Fire, and felt strongly about his dad, Theo. However, she had wanted a red classic tabby (no white) out of Fire and Fire had never presented me with a kitten in this color...until Jethro was born. We watched and prayed as he grew that he would develop into a good show cat. Our prayers were answered when at 3 months old, Tereasa flew out to meet him and the rest, as they say, is history.

J lives in the Boston area, but prefers to be out and about with his mom. He LOVES to show and made new friends at every show. He found his true love in another red classic tabby MC, a spay named Lena. Lena and J often were in adjacent cages at shows and the audience would always laugh at his antics of talking to Lena and making a fool of himself trying to get her attention.

Most famous for his pole dancing (see video) & as the cover cat for the Purina Pro Plan Tuna & Rice cat food.

A total ham and stunning example of the breed in both type and temperament.

My sincere gratitude to Tereasa for not only showing him in top condition, but for spoiling him rotten!

*J was an International Winner in the 2012-2013 show season (kitten) and again an International Winner in the 2013-2014 season (alter). He was Best Maine Coon Alter Internationally, 2nd Best Allbreed Alter, Best Longhair Alter and Best Alter in the Northeast Region.  In 2014-2015, J earned yet another high Regional Win with very limited showing, but this additional RW earned him the title of Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
