UPDATE (Nov 2025): I am planning for Mellie to have one more litter and then retire. She will have the last Chemicoons litter. and then remain here with Willie, our beloved pet, in her retirement.

Meet "Mellie" from my Olympic Runners litter out of Wrigley and Lium. I had been wanting to retire her mom, Wrigley, but the right kitten just hadn't come along, or at least not one that was a female. This little spitfire of a redhead purrs nonstop and is just delightful to have in the house. Her head structure is right on the mark and in line with the TICA Maine Coon breed standard. In fact, she might just have the best structure of any cat in my house (don't tell her grandpa Willie I said that).

Young Mellie only showed for two months as a kitten and yet racked up enough points to be an International Winner and 3rd Best Maine Coon kitten internationally. She's also KITTEN OF THE YEAR for the Great Lakes Region. She is such a joy to show.

Mellie is a three-show Supreme Grand Champion and, in all three shows, was Best of the Best Cat in show. She continues to LOVE being a show cat and traveling. I look forward to what this show season has in store for her.
