My Pets

I put the utmost thought into the number of cats that I have. I'm sure you've seen hording situations of pets and I keep that forefront in my mind as a breeder. In keeping each cat's happiness and well-being in the forefront of my mind, I have just a few cats. Most retired breeding girls and boys are placed in loving homes when I am no longer breeding them to ensure they get the most attention possible.

The following cats were never part of my breeding program, but obtained with the sole purpose of being my pets and have remained with me over the years.

Meet SCOOBY, the matriarch of the family. She turned 18 in 2015 and still plays like a kitten!  This cat has been with me through thick and thin. Named as an honorary Maine Coon, she truly mothers everyone in the house and sleeps at my side every single night.

Scooby and her sister, Scrappy, came from a family in the St. Louis area who had a litter of kittens. Unfortunately, Scrappy died at a year of age.  Scooby is a domestic shorthaired cat - tortoiseshell in color/pattern.

Meet BARNEY - my first somewhat successful show cat (and Maine Coon of course)!  This boy is my soul cat and if you've ever met him, you're not likely to ever forget him.

Click on his picture to meet this sweet, redheaded guy of mine.
